In 1971 MV "STEPHAN J" was the first vessel put into service whose financing was carried out via a so called "KG-Modell". Private investors shared in the own funds of the vessel and were pleased for a good rate of return when the vessel was sold in 1980.
Thus, the Jüngerhans shipping company has nearly 40 years experience in ship investments. During this time about 100 vessels were put into service. The results are as follows:
This is unique at the German capital market. At this the noteworthy particularity is that until now none of the investors of the shipping company had a negative rate of return.
The base of the success is a business-policy acting in favor of the investors. By a high own share in all vessels of the fleet interests of the investors as well as those of the shipowner are warranted.
