Newbuild MV "JUSTUS J"
The long-established shipping company Jüngerhans, based in Haren (Ems), Germany, has taken delivery of the newbuild MV "JUSTUS J" from the Chinese shipyard Huanghai shipbuilding. The ship will be employed on a time-charter-basis by Intermarine, continuing a business relationship that has lasted for more than 25 years.
The vessels sails under the charter name MV "SVEND" worldwide for project and heavy cargo transports.
The 147-meter-long and 22,9-meter-wide "F500eco"-type vessel has a cargo capacity of 12.500 TDW and is equipped with two 250-tons heavy-lift-cranes. The combined lifting capacity is up to 500 tons. Based on an optimised ship design in several aspects the vessel´s efficiency has been significant increased compared with older types.
In addition to representatives from the shipyard, the technical supervisor Mr. Uwe Lücke attended the delivery ceremony on behalf of the Jüngerhans shipping company. Lücke thanked the shipyard on behalf of the shipping company´s managing directors Stefan and Herm Jüngerhans for the excellent and successful cooperation on the recent newbuild project.
